Joint Mathematics Meeting Banquet - The ACMS hosted a banquet during the Joint Mathematics Meeting on Friday, January 6 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. Rosalind Picard (Professor of Media Arts and Sciences) at MIT shared with us on "Robots, Autism, and God." Her talk presented her work in affective computing--- a field she pioneered, to develop sensors and systems that recognize and respond respectfully to human emotions.

Proceedings of the 2011 ACMS Conference - The proceedings for the Westmont conference are now available: Proceedings. This includes the schedule, list of abstracts, and summaries for all the talks.

Job Center - Institutions with a Christian commitment may advertise open faculty positions in mathematics, computer science, or related fields on our Job Center board.

ACMS Conference - The 2011 ACMS Conference was held June 1-4, 2011 at Westmont College. Until the presentation files and videos of the talks are posted, the conference schedule and abstracts of talks will remain online. The conference pictures are available here: Picture 1 and Picture 2.

Computer Science Subgroup

The computer science subgroup of the ACMS consists of computer scientists and mathematicians who teach computer science. Computer science will be represented in the program at the biennial convention by a contributed paper session and a panel discussion.
