Roger V Gonzalez came to faith in 1981 through the ministry of The Navigators at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). During his undergraduate years, he was discipled for six years by the Navigator staff member, where he developed a strong doctrinal foundation in the Christian faith and the spiritual disciplines of walking with Christ. Over the past four decades, Roger and his wife, Yvette, have served in collegiate, community, and marriage ministries across the United States and internationally, supporting discipleship efforts and care initiatives in diverse cultural settings. Yvette is the Director of Crisis Care for The Navigators, and Roger is Associate Staff with the Care division, focusing on emotional and spiritual support for individuals and couples. Motivated by his faith, Roger founded LIMBS International, a nonprofit dedicated to helping restore mobility to amputees in underserved communities worldwide. Roger and Yvette have two adult children who live in Los Angeles and work in cinematography and sound design.

Heather and Ashley Holleman served as full-time staff with Cru for 20 years, with Ashley directing Cru’s national graduate student ministry for 7 years. Ashley now serves as Executive Director of Seated and Sent, a ministry he and Heather founded to come alongside churches and ministries to catalyze their efforts to establish believers in their identity in Christ, to develop an outreach culture for their context and to mobilize sent-ones.
Heather is an associate teaching professor at Penn State and writer of several books including Sent: Living a Life that Invites Others to Jesus (co-written with Ashley) and The Six Conversations: Pathways to Connecting in an Age of Isolation and Incivility which helps readers connect in loving conversation. As a couple, they love investing in rich and warm friendships with those God has placed in their natural pathways. You can learn more about their ministry at www.seatedandsent.com.
