About the Proceedings
The objective of the on-line proceedings is to provide a venue for the publication and distribution of materials relating Christian belief to mathematical and computing sciences.
In 2016 the Journal of the ACMS changed from being an online journal to refereed conference proceedings. To view the past journal articles please see the archives.
We are looking forward to this transition, and encourage ACMS members to submit an abstract to the upcoming ACMS conference!
Encouraged types of submissions to the journal were:
- Scholarly analyses of issues relating Christian belief and mathematical sciences
- Original classroom materials that assist in the integration of faith and learning
- Links to other web sites that have the potential to contribute to the accomplishment of the objectives of the journal
- Reflections on issues of importance to members. These may be brief or lengthy.
Theological perspectives
ACMS has its historical roots in the evangelical and reformed Christian communities yet welcomes submissions with a theological perspective that is consistent with any historic Christian theology, Protestant, Catholic, or Orthodox. Articles that are not based on a historic Christian perspective may occasionally be published if the editor deems them to be of sufficient interest to ACMS members and friends.
Submissions
There is a small set of guidelines unique to Proceedings of the ACMS that we ask authors to follow to provide stylistic consistency. You can download those here. Articles and other contributions should be sent to the editor.
